How to change the batteries of Chikiboom watches

The tools:
- a large exacto
- your watch
- your hands
- your attention to detail

Steps:
- insert the exacto blade into the slot behind the watch at the top right of the cap

- make a delicate but clear lever effect with the exacto blade and the metal foot (where the metal rod which holds the bracelet is inserted)

 - remove the stainless steel cap

- remove the plastic ring that protects the battery

- remove the existing battery using the tip of the exacto and be careful NOT TO PULL THE MECHANISM. This operation is the most delicate. If you pull the mechanism towards you while removing the battery, the hands may come off and there will be nothing more to do to repair your watch. You can use a finger to hold the mechanism while you remove the battery

 - take your new battery and warm it in the palm of your hand for five seconds to activate it

 - put the battery in place using your fingers and the tip of the exacto blade very gently making sure that the tiny piece of metal that holds the battery in place is put back as before

- push lightly to make sure it is properly inserted into its hole (it makes a little '' click '' )

 - put the cap back on

 - close the watch by pressing firmly while being gentle by placing the watch on a hard surface and putting pressure on the cap with your fingers. If this technique is not enough to close your watch, you can use a hammer (preferably rubber) and give very small blow following the contours of the round shape of the cap

 - and there you have it! Your Chiki-watch works again!

 Good luck in your mission.

**Attention: we cannot be held responsible if, during the battery change process, a breakage occurs. If you have any doubts about the technique, you can go to a jeweler near you with the battery in hand.

Thank you for your understanding :)
